Known as
"Paleface" by Jamaicans all over the world, he became a household name due to
five seasons of his successful TV show "Paleface Point of View".
Recognized in Britain as "the white bloke who speaks Jamaican", on SKY TV's
CARIBBEAN UNCOVERED and in America for presenting LIFESTYLES OF THE CARIBBEAN on
Comedy Central.
He recently
won the Race In Media Award for Best Radio Entertainment for "I LOVE CARNIVAL"
produced for BBC London by the Community Affairs Unit which he hosted alongside
Ranking Miss P.
Tony's comedy
has a Caribbean flavour and an international perspective. Jamaican born & half
bred, he is half English and half Jamaican but his humour is universal.
He has wowed
audiences at Hackney Empire, London, made rednecks go blue with laughter at the
Miami Improv, thrilled Caribbean Comedy Festival goers in Trinidad every time
he's been there, six so far, and he keeps US, Canadian & British audiences in
stitches at Sandals Hotels all over Jamaica.
Creator of
the award winning "LAUGH JAMAICA" - The Comedy Revue, Tony wrote, produced and
acted in the show. The Video can be seen on all Air Jamaica transatlantic
flights and is available through JetStar in the UK. Tony also writes a weekly
column for the Sunday Gleaner.
"BRIXTON ROAD PORTRAITS" his one man play is touring the UK in 2003.
